… drum roll please!!!
this was my first solo wedding in my professional career as a photographer. WHAT! look at these pictures y’all!!! i feel like there’s so much room for growth but i am so pleased and i hope this bride and groom love their pictures as much as i do!
recently, i decided to add weddings to my services and after months of research, practice, second shooting, and education. i’m excited to show off my work! i was super excited when raquel reached out to me needing a last minute photographer for her and noe’s wedding! and that it was going to be at the kemah board walk! bonus!! i think there’s something super special about being near the water! plus the fun vibes from the carnivals had me extra excited!
raquel was so sweet when she answered the door, we hugged and laughed because i was taller than she’d expected. i enjoyed spending a short amount of time with her and her brides maids, and the adorable flower girl, before the craziness of the wedding day began! we walked down the board walk and everyone was hooping and hollering at how beautiful they were… for some reason it’s so exciting to see people in wedding attire, especially in public, right? i think so!!
they had a ceremony that incorporated a lot of special people and traditions. i can’t say too much more on that because as much as i wish i did, i don’t speak enough spanish! but i loved listening as spanish holds a special place in my childhood heart! and there’s something awesome about spanish music too, you can’t help but dance and smile! speaking of, they had a MARIACHI band that played before/during dinner! i’ve always loved their outfits!!
they spent the rest of the night mingling and taking pictures with their family and friends that came to celebrate them.
congratulations noe & raquel! thank you so much for letting me share and document this special day for y’all! hope to see you soon!
